We have been working with and in wood for many years. Five years ago, we made our first wooden bed and it turned our company upside down a bit – in a positive sense. Since then, the main products of our joinery are beds – but not the typical ones that can be bought in popular furniture stores. We have decided to build beds according to the principles of Montessori education, where the bed is not only a place to sleep, but a real oasis for the little ones where they can play, learn, develop and – above all – feel safe.
Our joinery is done in a small factory with 12 employees, so we do not focus on the number of beds produced, but on their quality. We use only the best solid wood as well as safe and certified paints. Before dispatching each bed, we assemble it and check once again whether everything is tip-top – we round and grind the edges, mark individual elements etc.
We do not make beds on a production line; we prefer to produce fewer beds that are fully tailored to your needs and to take care of every detail.
Wood
We make our beds from solid pine of the highest quality. The highest class, in this case, means that the wood is virtually clean and knot-free. Solid wood means that each element is made of one piece of wood – there is no room for compromise so we do not use glued elements. This way the beds are not only aesthetic visually, but – above all – safe. The wood is also perfectly polished, smooth and pleasant to the touch. Each corner is rounded off so that it is not dangerous and the elements are both robust and very durable.
